For there first date he took her rockclimbing...good choice for there second date he took her to a family function where everyone in his family was going to be. Now if you think and not think long and hard most people would not take there date to a family function there second time they go out. So my dear friend was nervous and preceed to drink alot. While outside partaking in a smoke with some of the older gentlemen she over heard a story where the man was talking about how is wife was made because he called her the C word. Yikes. My friend preceed to laugh at the story and go back inside and drink some more. While having a drink she found herself standing next to the man who called his wife the C word and he was fighting with his wife about what time they should leave the famiy function so my friend pipes and says why don't you call your wife a C again since it worked out for you so well the first time. Well didn't she choose to say this on the top of her voice infront of grandma, cousins, aunts and parents. While everyone preceed to stare at my friend she ran to the master bedroom(dates parents room) and projectile vomited all over the room. So please when going on a date find out if your date is ok going with where your taking them and maybe get to know them a bit better to find out if they have a drinking problem.

Winter Campin

Winter camping is for fools who like the winter....I on the other hand would be ok with the warm breaze of a tropical country. But alas I live in Canada. So for the third time in my life so far I went winter camping again. Why you ask? I will let you know when I know. Although I was much more prepared this time and knew what to expect so I was not so cold. I made a few friends and well talked about poo....nothing funnier then bathroom humour. I participated in a drum circle which was pretty amazing and for me a bit spiritual. I also learned that while winter camping my body decides it needs to go pee about twice a night and quite frankly with no bathroom in your tent and with -35 weather you start to ponder peeing in your sleeping bad...next time I will bring a diaper and for people who think that is rude its not you lose alot of body heat when you leave your bed which is not particularly warm to begin with. Please don't be discourgaged though I did have fun and for the first time ever I build a quinzee...I was not stupid enough to stay in it but I did build one.

Traveling the World

Is it possible to have a great life but not be fully satisfied. I constanstly wonder what is out there...i want to explore the depths of this world...every little nook and cranny. A vacation once a year does not satify this need to travel. I also ponder the fact that instead of traveling around the world and helping people I spend most of the time being egocentric. Lying on the beach, shopping and drinking. Don't get me wrong those things are fun but those things don't make me a decent person. Have you ever been to a third world country were you spend $20 bucks a day and the people from the country make that in a month? Well I have and it didn't feel very good. So my goal is to finish University and travel around the world and help where I can, teach what I know and hopefully fill the void.
